A New Era of Togetherness
Lately, I’ve been noticing a rise in divorce stories coming to light. And in many of these cases, it’s women who are taking the first step toward separation. While it’s painful to see relationships fall apart, I also find myself feeling proud that women today are standing up for themselves — something that wasn’t always possible in earlier generations. They are questioning mistreatment, disrespect, and unhealthy patterns that were once normalized. But alongside this empowerment, I think it’s equally important to talk about men’s conditioning . It’s time for men to pause, reflect, and ask themselves some uncomfortable but necessary questions: What are we doing wrong? Why are women choosing to walk away? What parts of our behaviour have we overlooked or justified because of old conditioning? Real change begins with honest conversations — especially within families.
