Was that a Sunrise or Moon-Rise??
Like every day, today I woke up at 5:00 AM, freshened up, and headed to the gym. I turned my bike's ignition on, plugged in my earphones with fast-beat music, and started my ride at a slightly high pace. The roads were clear of traffic and layovers, and the winter's cool breeze gently touched my skin. I whispered "Good Morning" to the dawn while observing the darkness that felt as still as midnight.
I reached the highway and noticed only heavy vehicles on the road. To take a U-turn, I headed in the wrong direction because I love that curve—it gives me an adrenaline rush when I hit it at high speed. The moment I took the curve, I saw a full-circled moon, appearing strikingly close to my sight. At that very instant, a melodious song about the moon started playing from my playlist.
I couldn't help but give a huge smile, breathing deeply to embrace this fabulous moment. Not wanting to slow down my vehicle, I increased my speed, dancing along the road as I weaved through the heavy vehicles, singing loudly with the song and ignoring the stares of my co-passengers. This enchanting vibe continued until I parked my vehicle at the gym. As I reached the doorstep, I unplugged my earphones, my hands freezing and my eyes watery from the windy, fast ride.
Had I chosen to sleep in and stay warm in bed, I would have missed this beautiful gesture from nature—the coincidental music, the breathtaking moon, and the enchanting vibe. I can't wait to encounter many more lovely mornings like this.
